Mindfulness Meditation Class description:
Meditation technique includes relaxation, concentration and self- awareness. It helps to release tension and negativity; brings lightness of body, agility, efficiency and creativity. Meditation blesses one with a tranquil mind and allows transcending over mind and matter into spirituality.
During the class learn how to be mindful in daily life and experience guided meditation. We will cover different aspects of life in initial talk and explanation of what we will be doing in meditation and purpose of doing it.
Then about 8 minutes exercises to remove tension from the body and be comfortable to sit still during meditation. It will bring mindfulness towards body parts during exercises and open the energy meridian (channels) of the body for powerful effects of meditation.
After that there will be guided meditation of about 30 to 40 minutes. Each day we will have some new aspects covered in meditation.
Class dates and time: On Thursdays starting on March 7th to April 25th from 6.30 to 7.30 pm
Fees: $20 per class per person or for all 8 classes $140. Drop in well come.

Anjna has experience in transcendental and Vipassana Meditation. She has taught meditation at Medicine Hat college for 8 years and currently teaching from Okotoks Recreation Centre and High River Recreation centre and privately. she also is teaching Chakra meditation.
